If you have one day only in the city it is the best choice for you. Gdansk is connected with Sopot and Gdynia without a typical boundary. Those 3 cities have completely different histories, as does the whole region. Gdynia is the youngest city that was created in the times when Gdansk was not part of Poland, in between two Great World Wars. Sopot is a resort city, the smallest of all vacation capital of Poland. Gdansk was always the most important city in the region and the wealthiest one. This tour is the best choice if you want to explore the whole region in one day because you cannot speak about history here if you think about Gdansk alone.
